Cabana Boy Windows, Mission Statement
Cabana Boy Windows’ owner, Lon Murphy, began washing windows 15 years ago. He was working as a 4th grade teacher, and started the company during the summer. He began by finding residential customers, meeting new people, and asking the simple question: “How can I serve you best?”
Our Cabana Boy, Lon, loved the freedom of having his own company and it was helpful to have a second job in the summer. The company was initially supplemental income but took over as a full time job as the business expanded! Starting with residential homes grew into servicing retirement communities, which grew into servicing commercial buildings. Now Cabana Boy Windows does all of these!

Lon Murphy grew up in Northeast Portland and has traveled extensively. He moved to Colorado in 2002 where he began his teaching career and then started his window washing and pressure washing business. In 2014 he moved back to Portland and continued window washing and pressure washing as the business continued to expand. He is an avid rock climber, mountaineer, skier, and general outdoor enthusiast.
